Job ResponsibilitiesÂ

Responsible for maintaining industrial equipment in a manufacturing facility.  This includes preventive maintenance, replacing equipment, repairing equipment, installing new equipment, troubleshooting and other tasks as assigned.Â
Adhere to the Zero Harm/Zero Waste CultureÂ
Actively support the Responsible Care efforts for facilityÂ
Follows all safety rules policies, procedures, OSHA regulationsÂ
Secures and reports unsafe conditionsÂ
Attends required safety trainingÂ
Safely perform tasks and participate in Safety programsÂ
Perform preventive maintenance on a variety of plant equipmentÂ
Troubleshoot issues with plant equipmentÂ
Repair and replace equipment as neededÂ
Perform basic welding and pipe fittingÂ
Be able to successfully complete pipe fitting, bearings, welding, torch, power transmission testing per the schedule Â
Willingness to be on-call and handle plant breakdowns on evenings and weekends as per the scheduleÂ
Ability to maintain mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipmentÂ
Be able to replace 120 volt and 480-volt electric motorsÂ
Be able to work well in a group environment and individuallyÂ
Be able to learn the process flow of the plant to adequately be able to troubleshoot plant equipmentÂ
Be able to be meticulous when repairing equipment that requires itÂ
Perform other duties as assigned Â

Candidate Qualifications/ Requirements Â
1 year Maintenance experience requiredÂ
Must have good understanding of mechanical equipmentÂ
Must be capable of understanding and using computers including Microsoft OfficeÂ
Â
Physical & Work RequirementÂ
Must be able to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and talk or hear.Â
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.Â
Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 lbs.Â
List any PPE: safety goggles, hard hat, steel toe boots, must be medically cleared to wear a full faced respirator. Â
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical partsÂ
