Exciting news! We're looking for a Utility Worker to join our Test Department. If you're seeking a role with an awesome benefits package, a 4-day work week with some Friday overtime, and no mandatory weekend work, this could be for you! Working Schedule: 6:00AM-4:30PM Monday-Thursday with some Friday OT required.

$20.42/hr - $21.91/hr

Requirements

Summary

Supports the department by providing assistance with testing procedures for environmental chambers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

· Cleans and  prepares chambers for shipment using designated cleaning solutions (alcohol,  6% vinegar, RO water, wash thinner).

· Connects and disconnects water and electrical utilities to environmental chambers.

· Safely loads and unloads chambers.

· Daily use of hand tools, such as screwdrivers, wrenches, drills, and tape measures, to perform assigned tasks. 

· Maintains a clean and organized work area, including machines, tools, and equipment, through weekly cleaning procedures. 

· Conducts monthly routine maintenance of the test area. 

· Provides support to technicians as needed.

· Performs other routine duties as assigned. 

· Regular physical attendance is required.

Education

· High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

Skills and Experience

·   Ability to read a  tape measure required.

·  Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide required.

· Ability to read schematics preferred. 

· Basic computer skills preferred.
