Huntington University has an opening for Director of Performing Arts Programming.
The Director of Performing Arts Programming will provide strategic leadership, artistic vision, and administrative coordination for the University’s performing arts programs. The Director will cultivate vibrant opportunities in music and/or theatre while advancing institutional goals through student engagement, recruitment, and artistic excellence grounded in Christian faith.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have a strong personal Christian commitment and faith in Jesus Christ and a desire to serve others
- Must be committed to the mission of Huntington University as a comprehensive Christian College dedicated to educating students to impact our world for Christ
- Demonstrated understanding of Christian higher education, preferred
- Positive interpersonal skills and a team player

- Demonstrated administrative and supervisory skills

Required
- Demonstrated leadership in at least one performing arts discipline (music or theatre).
- Proven ability to recruit, inspire, and retain student participants.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Commitment to the mission of Huntington University and the integration of faith and the arts.
Preferred
- Master’s degree or higher in a performing arts discipline or related field.
- Experience directing high school, collegiate, or community-based ensembles or productions.
- Experience supervising staff or coordinating multiple programs.
- Evidence of successful collaboration and program growth.
