We're seeking a Senior Accountant to join a dynamic Finance team where you'll play a key role in financial reporting, process improvement, and business partnership initiatives as the organization continues to scale.

What You'll Do

• Lead key aspects of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Maintain the general ledger in accordance with U.S. GAAP, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data
• Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation for internal and external audits
• Research and interpret accounting guidance, including ASC 606 and ASC 842, and assist with technical accounting memos
• Support the development and enhancement of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Partner with FP&A, Legal, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure proper accounting treatment of contracts and business transactions
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on process optimization, automation, and reporting efficiencies
• Assist with ERP system enhancements, implementations, and special projects that support company growth

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP
• Experience supporting month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with ASC 606 and/or ASC 842
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA designation or actively pursuing CPA certification
• Public accounting experience
• Experience within fintech, SaaS, technology, or high-growth private equity-backed organizations
• Exposure to ERP systems such as NetSuite
• Experience with automation initiatives and process improvement projects
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving business environment

This is a Permanent position based out of Melville, NY.

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $110000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
