At ReLogic Research, you won’t be just another headcount. We are a tight-knit team of engineers, physicists, and technical professionals solving complex challenges in national defense and we are looking for a technically sharp CMM Programmer and Quality Inspector who takes pride in precision and gets satisfaction from turning a complex engineering drawing into a clean, accurate inspection result.

As an AS9100D-certified small business supporting the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Missile Defense Agency, our inspection capability is a core part of both our manufacturing and metrology service offerings. This is a hands-on technical role. You will be programming and operating our Zeiss CMM, developing inspection routines, interpreting engineering drawings, and generating the dimensional data that drives quality decisions across our programs.

If you are the kind of person who can read a GD&T callout, set up the part, write the program, and deliver a clean inspection report, ReLogic is where you belong.

Primary Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate Zeiss coordinate measuring machines to inspect precision aerospace components and assemblies
• Develop, validate, and optimize CMM inspection programs from engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T requirements
• Perform dimensional inspections for first article, in-process, and final inspections
• Use precision hand measurement tools including micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and height gauges for incoming and in-process inspection activities
• Generate clear, accurate inspection reports and dimensional data packages for internal and customer use
• Support First Article Inspection documentation in accordance with AS9102
• Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T requirements per ASME Y14.5 to define inspection strategy and measurement approach
• Maintain CMM equipment including calibration coordination and routine maintenance
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve dimensional non-conformances

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience programming and operating CMM equipment in a manufacturing or inspection environment
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T per ASME Y14.5
• Experience using precision hand measurement tools including micrometers, calipers, and gauges
• Experience generating inspection reports and dimensional data packages
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Zeiss Calypso CMM programming software experience strongly preferred — familiarity with Zeiss CMM equipment and Calypso inspection routines is a significant plus
• Experience in aerospace, defense, or precision manufacturing environments
• Familiarity with AS9100D quality management requirements
• Experience supporting First Article Inspection per AS9102
• Familiarity with structured light scanning or other metrology equipment
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in quality, engineering technology, or related field

This is a full-time salaried position with highly competitive compensation based on experience and skills, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for career growth.
