We are seeking a dedicated and skilled B Tech Service and Repair Technician to join our dynamic service department.

  

Responsibilities

  • Diagnostics & Repairs:
    • Perform accurate diagnostics and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in a variety of vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, brakes, and suspension.
    • Execute repairs and maintenance tasks efficiently, adhering to dealership and manufacturer standards.
  • Maintenance Services:
    • Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and multi-point vehicle inspections.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality and safety standards before vehicles are returned to customers.
  • Documentation:
    • Maintain detailed and accurate service records, documenting all repairs, parts used, and maintenance performed.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the service team to prioritize tasks and ensure timely completion of service orders.
    • Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers as needed.
  • Continuous Learning:
    • Stay updated with the latest automotive technologies and participate in ongoing training provided by the dealership and manufacturers.

Requirements

  

  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an automotive technician, preferably in a dealershipsetting.
  • Certifications:
    • ASE Certification (Automotive Service Excellence) is preferred not required.
    • Manufacturer-specific certifications are a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
    • Strong problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
    • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy equipment and working on your feet for extended periods.
  • Licenses:
    • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Background Checks:
    • Ability to pass a drug screening and background check.
  • Teamwork:
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Schedule

  • Full-Time:
    • 5-day work week 
    • Monday – Friday
    • Alternating Saturdays with day off during the week    


Work Environment & Physical Demands

Duties are performed on the dealership premises, both indoors and outdoors and on customer test drives. Work includes frequent movement around the company facilities and the outdoor car lot to interact with customers and other departments. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear and is frequently required to stand, walk and sit. The position requires regular and predictable attendance. Scheduled shifts will include evening hours, weekends, and holidays.
