Location: Idaho Falls, Idaho and surrounding communities
Schedule: Full-Time, approximately 32–40 hours per week
Employment Status: Hourly / Non-Exempt
Work Setting: Community-based; primarily assisted living, residential, skilled nursing, memory care, and long-term care settings

What You'll Do

As an EverCare Care Partner, you will provide relationship-centered, non-clinical support to individuals living in residential and long-term care environments.

Your role is centered on connection, engagement, independence, and quality of life.

  • Build consistent, supportive relationships with assigned clients

  • Provide companionship, encouragement, conversation, and meaningful social interaction

  • Engage clients in recreational, social, wellness, and community activities

  • Encourage participation in hobbies, facility activities, routines, and social opportunities

  • Support approved outings and activities

  • Help reduce loneliness and social isolation

  • Encourage independence, choice, and meaningful engagement

  • Observe changes in mood, behavior, functioning, or support needs and communicate concerns to the appropriate team member

  • Communicate professionally with facility staff, families, providers, and other authorized supports

  • Maintain appropriate professional boundaries and respect client dignity, privacy, preferences, and independence

  • Complete required visit and activity documentation accurately and on time

  • Participate in required meetings, training, and supervision

  • Recognize and promptly report health, behavioral health, abuse/neglect, or safety concerns

  • Protect confidential information and comply with HIPAA and company policies

  • Travel between assigned client locations throughout Idaho Falls and surrounding communities

Scope of the Role

The Care Partner is a non-clinical supportive role.

Care Partners do not independently diagnose, conduct clinical assessments, provide psychotherapy, create treatment plans, make medication recommendations, or provide credentialed behavioral health services.

The position does not include skilled nursing, medication administration, or hands-on personal care unless specifically assigned and the employee is appropriately qualified and trained.

Qualifications

  • At least 18 years old

  • High school diploma or GED preferred

  • Ability to pass required Idaho background checks and facility clearances

  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and required auto insurance

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Dependable and able to maintain a consistent client schedule

  • Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality

  • Comfortable working independently in community settings

  • Ability to complete electronic documentation accurately and on time

  • Basic smartphone and technology skills

Preferred: Experience in assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, behavioral health, human services, home care, recreation, or working with older adults or individuals with disabilities. CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
