The Opportunity

Holm Electric is seeking an organized, approachable HRAdministrator who enjoys working with employees, managing details, and helpingcreate a great employee experience. This is a hands-on, employee-facing rolesupporting recruiting, onboarding, HR administration, compliance and employeeengagement across our Nevada operations.

The ideal person is someone employees feel comfortableapproaching, who notices what is happening in the workplace, follows through ondetails, and enjoys being part of a growing organization.

The position is based in Incline Village and may requireoccasional travel to Holm Electric's Las Vegas location. The position isanticipated to be full-time; however, Holm Electric may consider a reducedschedule under the right circumstances.

Since 1998, Holm Electric has partnered with homeowners andcontractors, public works agencies, and improvement districts to provideprofessional residential and commercial electrical contracting, homeautomation, and integration services. What You'llDo

While not a day-to-day description, the overall dutiesinclude:

Recruiting & Onboarding

·       Partnerswith managers to identify staffing needs.

·       Coordinatesthe recruitment process from job posting through candidate selection, hiring,and onboarding.

·       Coordinatesnew hire orientation and onboarding activities.

Human Resources & Compliance

·       Appliesworking knowledge of employment laws and sound HR practices to day-to-daysituations and seeks guidance when appropriate.

·       Supportsconsistent, compliant employment practices, including performance managementand separations.

·       Assistsmanagement with policy interpretation and consistent application of employmentpractices.

Benefits Administration

·       Maintainsemployee files and HRIS records and coordinates with Accounting onpayroll-related information.

·       Coordinatesthe company’s full cycle of health and welfare insurance benefits.

·       Coordinatesemployee leave requests and maintains required documentation and tracking.

Employee Experience

·       Buildsstrong working relationships with employees and supervisors, staying connectedto employee needs and identifying concerns or retention issues early.

·       Partnerswith company leadership to support the day-to-day employee experience whilefostering a compliant, responsive, and supportive work environment.

·       Supportsmanagers with employee development and performance-management processes.

·       Continuouslylooks for ways to improve HR, communication, and employee-support processes.

Requirements

What You'llBring

Please apply if you enjoy helping people, are highlyorganized, take pride in creating a positive employee experience, andunderstand how to effectively administer Human Resources. We are looking forsomeone who is dependable, approachable, exercises sound judgment when handlingconfidential information, and knows when to seek additional guidance.

We prefer candidates that have the following education andexperience.

·       Threeor more years of hands-on Human Resources administration

·       Experiencewith recruiting, onboarding and employee records

·       Workingknowledge of employment laws and HR practices

·       Payrollexperience is helpful

·       Strongcomputer skills, including Excel, Outlook

·       Constructionindustry experience is a plus
