Overview

Responsible for coordinating and executing compliance procedures related to Fair Housing, acquisitions, rehabs, conversions, and dispositions.


Responsibilities

  • Execute compliance due diligence procedures including, but not limited to, on-site visits, auditing, calculating maximum allowable rents, and evaluating regulatory agreements to identify potential compliance gaps or risks.
  • Execute compliance acquisition reports, pre-closing, and post-closing procedures.
  • Facilitate compliance onboarding and support procedures for acquisition, rehab, and conversion properties through compliance stabilization.
  • Facilitate compliance operations for dispositions.
  • Facilitate compliance operations for HAP assignment transfers.
  • Responsible for managing compliance procedures related to Fair Housing including, but not limited to, reasonable accommodations and modifications, fair housing training and resource development, fair housing policy and procedure development, monitoring jurisdictions for protected class applicability, Language Access Plans, and Affirmative Fair Housing Marketing plans.

 


Qualifications

  • 4+ years’ experience in affordable housing.
  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Proficient with various multi-family housing program requirements; COS and HCCP or equivalent designations
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet designated deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of Yardi or similar property management software
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Software.
  • Able to work a varied schedule including weekends.
  • Able to travel.
  • Able to work efficiently with a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and follow-through.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Must be able to read and comprehend the English language.
  • Fluent in Spanish is a plus.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license in the state of residence.
