About the Role:
Morellis One Hour Dry Cleaners Inc is looking for a friendly and motivated Customer Service Representative to join our team in Indianapolis, IN! This is a fantastic opportunity to be the face of a trusted local business, delivering exceptional service to loyal customers every day. Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers at the counter with a positive, professional attitude
- Accept and process incoming garments and dry cleaning orders accurately
- Inspect and tag clothing items, noting any special care instructions or pre-existing damage
- Inspect, assemble, bag and organize all orders going to our four locations for the day
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and order status updates in a timely manner
- Process payments, operate POS systems, and manage cash transactions
- Notify customers when orders are ready for pickup via phone or other communication channels
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front-of-store environment
Requirements:
- Prior customer service, retail, or front desk experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills and comfort handling cash and POS transactions
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented work ethic
- Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts
- Dry cleaning or laundry industry experience is a plus, but not required
