I. Position Description
The Maintenance Planner is responsible for planning and scheduling maintenance work for the facility.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plans, schedules, and coordinates corrective and preventive maintenance activities.
- Collaborates with the engineering and the maintenance teams to identify, analyze, and resolve equipment issues.
- Work with equipment vendors and maintenance to determine the pm schedule and activities.
- Coordinates with the stores to ensure parts available before release of work order.
- Perform routine audits to ensure the INFOR EAM data records are up to date and accurate.
- Generates INFOR reports and update KPI’s.
- Updates INFOR EAM with new equipment records and BOM.
- Create new records in INFOR EAM.
- Service as a liaison between maintenance and operations.
- Maintain record and files essential to maintenance management.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities.
- Assist with the stores and purchasing function.
- Other duties as assigned or deemed necessary.
II. Qualifications
A. PRE-HIRE REQUIREMENTS
- 2 years maintenance experience.
- Leadership Experience.
- Excellent interpersonal communications skills; written and verbal.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Proficient using the INFOR EAM Software.
B. POST-HIRE TRAINING
- ISO awareness.
- OSHA training.
- Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma training.
- Ecobat Resources Policy and Procedure training.
- Safety training for applicable equipment.
- Job instructional training.
- SAP system.
- Quality system familiarization.
III. Physical Requirements & Work Environment
A. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
B. WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and risk of electrical shock. The employee occasionally works in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment.
