Facility: Ascension St. Vincent Lucas Family Brain and Spine

Department/Specialty: Inpatient, ICU Acuity Adaptable Unit

Schedule: Full-Time, Night shift, 3x12 with rotating weekends

How you'll make an impact in this role

• Lead the delivery of high quality, coordinated neurological and spine care for all complex neurosurgical and spine patients to ensure immediate intervention during critical changes in neurological status.
• Enhance the patient experience by coordinating across all medical disciplines to provide seamless, accessible care that accelerates the recovery journey.
• Execute physician and nursing treatment plans with precision to maintain the clinical excellence and safety standards required for a destination Center of Excellence.
• Communicate real-time updates on patient progress to the healthcare team and families, fostering a transparent and well-informed environment for critical decision-making.
• Prepare patients and their families for life after the ICU by managing discharge logistics early, ensuring a safe and supportive transition through the coordinated care network.

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

What additional requirements you'll need

• Critical Care experience.
• Must have ICU experience.
