American Structurepoint’s Structural Engineering group is seeking candidates to join us for our summer internship program in Indianapolis, IN! As a Structural intern, you won’t just sit on the sidelines—you’ll dive into real projects and get hands-on experience in engineering design, 3D modeling with Revit, shop drawing reviews, development of calculation tools, and even go on site visits with our engineers. You’ll work closely with project managers and production staff, contributing to buildings made from concrete, steel, wood, and masonry across a variety of industries. It’s a great chance to build your skills, explore different areas of structural engineering, and see how your work impacts real-world construction.Â

Responsibilities
What you will work on:Â
- Assist Project Managers in structural designsÂ
- Assist Senior Staff in performing a wide range of forensic investigations related to damage and deterioration structures and physical condition assessment studiesÂ
- Utilize AutoCAD and/or Revit to produce digital drawings and modelsÂ
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Who you are:Â
- Student pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering Â
- Reliable transportation to and from design centerÂ
- Strong work ethic, willingness to learn and try new thingsÂ
