Job DetailsJob Location: Camp Creek Resort - Inlet Beach, FL 32461Position Type: Part Time Job Summary   The role of the Shuttle Drive is responsible for safely transporting employees between designated locations in a timely and efficient manner. This role also includes maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the vehicle and adhering to scheduled routes. Primary Responsibilities & Essential Functions Operate a 14-passenger Sprinter van (or other assigned vehicles) safety, courteously, and reliably along designated routes within assigned schedules Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations, including wearing a seatbelt, conducting regular vehicle inspections, and ensuring passenger safety Assist passengers with boarding, including those using wheelchairs or other mobility aids and properly secure wheelchairs and scooters Notify management of deviations, overload, accidents, passenger incidents, medical/behavioral problems, or bus mechanical/electrical trouble Complies with all applicable Federal, State, and Local regulations and requirements governing, including Department of Transportation Attends scheduled maintenance appointments to ensure the vehicle is in optimal working condition Refuel the vehicle regularly and manage fuel usage Maintain the cleanliness and interior condition of the vehicle, including regular cleaning and tidying Communicate effectively with employee riders, addressing any questions or concerns they may have Ensure riders are tracked for pickup and drop off each trip Complete and submit written reports concerning passengers and all accidents Comply with instructions or duties as may be reasonably assigned All other duties as assigned Qualifications Education and Experience Sufficient education and literacy needed to identify and read product labels and to communicate effectively with guests Ability to read, write, speak, and communicate in basic English     Must be at least 21 years of age Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record Possess or have the ability to obtain a CDL with B + P endorsements Have at least 3 years of driving experience 1 year of work experience providing passenger transportation is preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Detail oriented and thorough   with strong attention to accuracy    Ability to perform consistent work to the highest of standards    Ability to remain discreet and respect the privacy of guests    Ability to interact with guests in a pleasant friendly way Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to operate a vehicle safety and by the law Knowledge of road safety and ability to maintain and enforce policies and protocols in emergency situations Physical Demands Frequent sitting and driving Occasional walking Must be able to lift 25lbs Working Conditions Primarily inside a vehicle Exposure to vehicle operation in all conditions Exposure to the elements and potentially hazardous roads The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed and are not an exclusive list of all duties and responsibilities.  The St. Joe Company/St. Joe Resort Operations reserves the right to amend and change responsibilities to meet business and organizational needs.
