As a Dietary Aide, you will play an important role in supporting our residents by helping provide nutritious meals, maintaining a clean and safe dining environment, and contributing to a positive experience for those we serve. What You'll Do As a Dietary Aide, you will support the Dietary Services team by: Assisting with the preparation and portioning of cold food items, beverages, snacks, and nourishments. Preparing, labeling, and organizing between-meal snacks and maintaining nourishment area stock. Assisting with meal setup, tray preparation, delivery, and service. Cleaning and sanitizing dishes, utensils, trays, and other service ware in accordance with infection control and food safety standards. Maintaining a clean, organized, safe, and sanitary work environment. Following established food handling procedures, dietary policies, and applicable local, state, and federal regulations. Working collaboratively with the Dietary Services Department and other members of the Center team. Reporting safety concerns, hazardous conditions, and equipment issues to the appropriate supervisor. Completing required training and attending departmental and Center meetings as assigned. Treating residents, families, visitors, and fellow team members with dignity, kindness, and respect. Following all infection prevention, safety, and sanitation practices. Performing other duties as assigned. Able to understand and follow directions. 4. Good interpersonal skills. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. Prolonged periods standing, bending, stooping, and stretching 2. Ability to push, pull, move, or lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
