WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING AS AN ACCOUNT MANAGER

You'll become a trusted resource for customers throughout your territory, building strong relationships with key decision-makers, and helping them find effective solutions for their business needs. You'll visit customer facilities, uncover new opportunities, follow up on leads, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional service. As you manage account plans, prepare quotes, negotiate pricing, and identify growth strategies, you'll continually work to increase market share and profitability. You'll coordinate with purchasing, support customer concerns, document activity within CRM systems, and partner with colleagues and suppliers to strengthen customer relationships while helping the territory achieve sales goals.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're looking for an Account Manager who can meeting the following qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent sales experience
  • 3+ years of sales, account management, business development, or territory management experience; industry experience is preferred
  • Experience working on a computer, with CRM experience being a plus
  • Ability to be available for 24-hour customer support and work a flexible schedule depending on demands in the department or of the customer
  • Ability to maintain a vehicle that seats four adults comfortably as well as meeting company standards for cleanliness, safety and insurance compliance
  • Committed to attendance, punctuality, policy compliance and professionalism
  • Ability to submit an itinerary/call and expense reports in a timely manner
  • Knowledge and skills of computer systems and software
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Professional writing and presentation skills
  • Organizational, planning, and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to develop relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Research and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to develop and implement assigned territory and customer account plan
