Title Administrator - $55,000 - $65,000 / Annually – Irvine, 92614


Role: Process, verify, and manage legal documents for vehicle ownership related to purchases, transfers, repossessions, and paid off accounts ensuring compliance with state regulations.

Essential Job Responsibilities will include but, are not limited to:

  • Document Processing: Prepare legal documents, process, and track vehicle titles, registration paperwork, and lien releases.
  • Compliance and Accuracy: Ensure all transactions adhere to state regulations, specifically verifying accuracy of titles, signatures, VINs, assignments, liens, and ownership.
  • Communication: Act as a liaison between the Department of Motor Vehicles, vendors, brokers, and other departments regarding outstanding titles.
  • Daily Record Maintenance: Maintain and scan organized records of titles for inventory, repossessions, or sold vehicles
  • Problem Resolution: Identify and correct errors in titles or registration documentation; resolve customer inquiries


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Notary Preferred
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in reviewing legal documents.
  • Knowledge of State Regulations: Understanding of state specific Department of Motor Vehicle laws.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word)
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple files and meet strict deadlines.
  • Experience: Previous clerical, administrative, or motor vehicle experience.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of accountability and follow through.
  • Adaptable to change and prioritize urgent tasks.
