Job Summary:

The Director of Human Resources provides strategic and operational leadership for the HR department, aligning HR strategies with organizational objectives. This Position oversees all aspects of human resources management–including talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, learning and development, development and execution of policies, and HR operations. The Director partners closely with the COO and other senior leadership.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Health Administration, or related discipline is preferred.

• Minimum 5 years progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial HR role.

• Advanced knowledge of labor/employment law, compensation and benefits, talent management, conflict resolution, and HR technology (e.g., HRIS, LMS)

• Experience with HR policy development, compliance monitoring, and organizational change management.
  

Certifications:

• Professional HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR preferred
  

Skills & Competencies:

• In-depth understanding of employment law, HR best practices, diversity/equity/inclusion, and labor relations.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.

• Excellent project management, organizational, and analytical abilities.

• High ethical standards, professionalism, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
