Position Overview:

This is an inside sales position that reports to the Director of Broker and Special Relationships. This position is designed to structure and evaluate financing opportunities from our customers and brokers and ultimately closed transactions. This person will need to work well with others to manage and solve deal-related issues by networking internally with the Credit, Operations and Accounting departments and externally with the deal sources.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

To be effective, you will need good communication, writing, organization and software (primarily Outlook, Excel and Power Point) skills. Ā The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

  • Strong credit skills and familiarity with commercial and app only credit analysis as well as credit bureaus and credit scores.
  • Effective communication skills with internal and external stakeholders to manage rejections and solve problems.
  • Comfortable contacting customers and brokers via phone and email and understanding metrics of leads and transactions.
  • Understanding of financial contracts and concepts.
  • Well organized and can effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Aware of the funding process for titled equipment.
  • Team player who will support others when they are out of the office.
  • Forward thinker and willing to suggest process improvements.
  • Ideally has a degree in business or finance and customer service experience.
  • Willingness to perform other related duties as assigned by management.

  • Bachelor's Degree (BA or BS) from four-year college or university, or one to two years of related credit experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Personal computer, copier, phone, and other typical office equipment.

Working Hours:

  • Hours may vary and will require some evening work; frequently requires working 40-45 hours/week depending on business needs.

Physical Demands:

  • Digital dexterity and hand/eye coordination in operation of office equipment
  • Light lifting and carrying of supplies, files, etc.
  • Ability to speak to and hear customers and/or other employees via phone or in person
  • Body motor skills sufficient to enable incumbent to move from one office location to another

The position is exempt and the salary will be between $65,000 - $85,000 with an opportunity to earn a sales commissions.

The salary range is determined and based on internal equity, market data/ranges, applicant's skills, prior relevant experience and education.
