What You’ll Do

As an Employment Specialist, you will lead and implement all phases of vocational services, including:

· Developing individualized employment plans based on client strengths and goals

· Building relationships with local employers and community partners

· Identifying job opportunities and matching candidates to positions

· Supporting job placement, retention, and long-term success

· Educating employers about disability inclusion and workplace accommodations

· Maintaining knowledge of assistive technology and workplace supports

· Reviewing vocational, medical, educational, and psychological information to guide planning

· Conducting client orientations and weekly one-on-one goal meetings

· Participating in team planning meetings

· Completing documentation in compliance with program and funding guidelines

This role blends job development, career coaching, advocacy, and case coordination.



What You Bring

Required

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance

· CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

· Flexible schedule, including occasional evenings or weekends

· Ability to pass background and driving record checks


Preferred

· Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in social services, education, behavioral health, rehabilitation, human resources, marketing, or related field

· Experience in case management, employment services, sales, recruiting, HR, or workforce development

· Knowledge of disability services and community resources

· Strong networking and relationship-building skills
