What You'll Do
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, coach, and support Direct Support Professionals throughout Clark and Scott Counties.
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, and staff development.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and person-centered support.
- Ensure employees maintain required certifications and complete all mandatory training.
Program & Service Excellence
- Oversee service delivery and ensure support plans are implemented effectively.
- Collaborate with clients, families, guardians, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and maintain individualized goals.
- Provide guidance and oversight to ensure services are delivered with dignity, respect, and quality.
- Help individuals build community connections and access meaningful opportunities.
Compliance & Operations
- Maintain documentation and records in accordance with Medicaid, CARF, FSSA, DRS, and agency requirements.
- Monitor program performance, billing, productivity, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with agency policies, best practices, and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate client meetings, reviews, and service planning activities.
Working Leadership
- Serve as a hands-on leader by providing direct support and billable services when needed.
- Respond to client and staffing emergencies as necessary.
- Represent New Hope Services in the community through outreach and engagement activities.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities.
- Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic documentation systems.
- Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Supervisory or management experience.
- Knowledge of Medicaid Waiver services, CARF standards, and person-centered practices.
- Experience leading teams in community-based human services programs.
