The Project Manager, Enterprise PMO is responsible for leading complex, cross-functional initiatives that support key strategic priorities across 1-800-FLOWERS.COM, Inc.

This role partners with teams across the organization to plan and execute enterprise projects, establish clear timelines and deliverables, manage risks and dependencies, facilitate effective decision-making, and ensure initiatives remain aligned with business objectives.

The ideal candidate brings strong project management experience within a complex, consumer-focused organization and has demonstrated success leading initiatives across multiple business functions. This individual will be a strong communicator and collaborative partner who can effectively engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization while driving projects from planning through successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead complex, cross-functional enterprise projects from planning through execution and delivery.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and action plans.
  • Translate strategic business priorities into clear project objectives, workstreams, ownership, and execution plans.
  • Coordinate initiatives across functions including Marketing, Product, Merchandising, Operations, eCommerce, Technology, Finance, and other business areas.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively identify risks, issues, dependencies, and resource constraints.
  • Partner with stakeholders to develop mitigation strategies and resolve project roadblocks.
  • Facilitate cross-functional project meetings and ensure clear ownership, accountability, and follow-through on commitments.
  • Build strong relationships with project sponsors, business leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Effectively manage competing priorities and facilitate alignment across teams with differing business objectives.
  • Prepare clear and concise project updates, dashboards, presentations, and other materials for senior and executive leadership.
  • Communicate project status, risks, dependencies, decisions, and recommendations to key stakeholders.
  • Support the continued development and improvement of Enterprise PMO processes, governance, reporting, templates, and project management practices.
  • Apply project management best practices while adapting approaches based on business and project needs.
  • Partner effectively with both business and technical teams to support successful end-to-end project delivery.
  • Support change-management activities associated with enterprise initiatives and new ways of working.
  • Identify opportunities to improve project execution, collaboration, visibility, and overall effectiveness.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; degree in Business, Project Management, Operations, Technology, or a related discipline preferred.
  • 5–8+ years of progressive project management experience, preferably supporting complex enterprise or transformation initiatives.
  • Experience within CPG, eCommerce, retail, consumer products, consumer brands, or a related industry strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience managing initiatives that span multiple business functions and stakeholder groups.
  • Experience working within or alongside an established PMO environment with an understanding of project governance, reporting, standards, and delivery practices.
  • Experience developing, improving, or implementing project management processes, governance, templates, or reporting practices preferred.
  • Strong stakeholder-management skills with the ability to influence and drive accountability across cross-functional teams.
  • Experience communicating with and presenting to senior and executive-level stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt effectively within a dynamic business environment.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand project objectives within the broader context of the organization.
  • Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid project management methodologies.
  • Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Asana, Monday.com, or similar platforms.
  • PMP, Agile, Scrum, or related project management certification preferred but not required.

The expected salary range for this position is $110,000 to $115,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and other factors permitted by law.
