Position Summary
The Warehouse Associate/Driver is responsible for performing all warehouse functions related to the receiving, organizing, staging, and delivery of telecommunications materials. This role involves extensive driving — often within a 6-hour radius of the warehouse — to deliver and pick up site materials for multiple telecom projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety and efficiency. This position requires physical labor, heavy lifting, and flexibility in scheduling, including early mornings, late evenings, and occasional weekends.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving & Deliveries:
Â- Safely operate company vehicles, including up to 26’ box trucks, to deliver and pick up telecommunications materials and equipment.
 - Follow all DOT, OSHA, and TSC safety and driving regulations.
 - Plan delivery routes efficiently to meet project timelines and maintain fuel and time efficiency.
 - Ensure all delivery documentation is complete and accurate, including bills of lading and delivery confirmations.
 - Communicate effectively with site supervisors, warehouse team, and management regarding deliveries, delays, and material needs.

- Warehouse Operations:
Â- Receive incoming materials and place them into appropriate inventory locations.
 - Organize and maintain the warehouse to optimize storage space and facilitate quick material retrieval.
 - Pull and stage ordered materials for delivery or pickup in coordination with project schedules.
 - Maintain accurate inventory records, reporting discrepancies or damaged goods promptly.
 - Inspect and maintain equipment and vehicles in good working condition, reporting maintenance needs immediately.

- Safety & Compliance:
Â- Follow all applicable OSHA, DOT, and TSC safety rules, policies, and procedures.
 - Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently (certification or willingness to become certified required).
 - Estimate and balance load weights to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
 - Wear and maintain appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.

Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
 - Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required; CDL preferred but not mandatory.
 - Ability to drive up to a 26’ box truck for pick-ups and deliveries.
 - Reliable transportation to and from work.
 - Minimum 1–2 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or delivery operations preferred.
 - Forklift operation experience and/or certification highly preferred.
 - Knowledge of telecommunications materials and components is a plus.
 - Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 lbs.+ (with assistance for heavier items).
 - Ability to stand, climb, reach, bend, and twist for extended periods during shifts.
 - Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
 - Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
 - Flexible schedule with the ability to work long hours, early mornings, late nights, and weekends when necessary.

Work Environment
- Work performed in warehouse and field environments, with exposure to varying weather conditions during deliveries.
 - Frequent standing, lifting, bending, and operation of heavy equipment required.
 - Adherence to all safety standards and protocols is mandatory.
