Experienced Landscape Construction Foreman

ALPHA Landscapes is seeking an all-star landscape construction foreman.

ALPHA Landscapes is a 100% new-construction focused landscape firm working with the top general contractors and developers in the area. ALPHA Landscapes started with a pickup truck and a wheelbarrow in 2018 and has now grown into the largest commercial landscape construction firm in Iowa with top of the line trucks and equipment, and 50+ employees operating out of our Des Moines office.

This is an opportunity to join a rapidly growing, yet stable company, with typical hours between 40-60 weekly, March-December (20+ average in off-season) pay starting at $23-26/hr, with earning potential upwards of $30+/hr

What does a typical day look like at ALPHA?

• Loading materials and equipment on the shop every morning
• Overall job site management of tree and landscape installation
• Plan reading and layout 
• Skid loader/equipment operation
• Training/developing team members.

The ideal applicant should have the following at minimum:

• 3+ Years landscape/construction experience, with at least 1 year in a foreman position.
• Landscape/planting/hardscape knowledge
• Time management skills
• Excellent problem solving skills

**All new hire candidates will be required to take a drug test upon arrival their first day at ALPHA Landscapes. In the event the candidate tests positive, the candidate will not be able to start until they provide a negative test.
