Shift Supervisor

You've been the best person on your shift for a while. You're ready for that to mean something.

We're looking for a restaurant supervisor who leads from the front — not someone who wants a title and a clipboard. If you can run a shift, hold standards, and make the people around you better, this is your next step toward restaurant management.

WHAT THE JOB LOOKS LIKE

Five Guys kitchens are hot, loud, and fast. You'll work the grill, the fryer, and the register — wherever the shift needs you. When someone calls out, you handle it. When the line wraps to the door, you set the pace.

Opens and closes. Weekends every week. If you need Monday-through-Friday, this isn't the right fit.

Honest question: do you want to lead a shift, or do you want a title? If you're not willing to work the fryer on a Friday night, this will frustrate both of us.

WHAT YOU EARN

$19–$23/hour with tips ($17–$19 base + $2–$4/hr tips)

$50–$100/week Guest Experience Bonus

Secret Shop Incentive paid every two weeks

Health, Dental & Vision — we pay 75% ($300–$400/month we cover)

HSA — we contribute up to $600/year

$50K life insurance — fully paid

401K — 100% match up to 3%

6 days PTO

Annual comp: $42,000–$53,000 including tips and bonuses, before benefits.

Career path: Supervisor → Assistant Manager → General Manager. We promote from within.

WHAT WE NEED

2+ years restaurant experience (shift leader, team lead, crew leader, line cook, or kitchen supervisor background preferred). Management experience is a plus but leading naturally matters more than a title on a resume.

Full-time, 4–5 shifts/week — days, evenings, weekends. 40 hours. If your availability is about to change, tell us upfront.

ServSafe certified or within 30 days of hire.
