We are seeking a Corporate Controller with strong leadership, analytical, and technical accounting skills to oversee financial operations across multiple entities. This position will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of our financial systems, managing intercompany and consolidation accounting, ensuring compliance, and providing executive-level financial insights to guide decision-making.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Microsoft Business Dynamics, strong cash management and consolidation accounting expertise, and the ability to thrive in a multi-entity environment. A background in public accounting and demonstrated success in implementing process improvements will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Oversight: Direct and manage the daily accounting operations across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all financial processes.

  • Intercompany & Consolidation Accounting: Oversee intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and elimination entries. Prepare and review consolidated financial statements across all entities.

  • Cash Management: Maintain complete oversight of cash flow activities. Forecast cash needs, manage liquidity, and ensure sufficient funds for daily operations.

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Present results, trends, and recommendations to senior leadership.

  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and monitor budgets, analyze variances, and support operational leaders with financial planning and forecasting.

  • Audit & Compliance: Lead internal and external audit preparation and ensure adherence to GAAP, financial regulations, and company policies.

  • System Management: Administer and optimize Intuit Enterprise Suite, ensuring accurate data flow, reporting integrity, and system efficiency.

  • Internal Controls: Implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure reliable financial reporting.

  • Strategic Collaboration: Partner with executive management and department heads to provide financial insights that drive operational efficiency and strategic growth.

  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to accounting team members, fostering a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).

  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including multi-entity consolidation and cash management.

  • Public accounting or audit experience highly preferred.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Business Dynamics and Microsoft Excel (including Pivot Tables and data mining).

  • Proven experience managing accounting operations in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.

  • Strong understanding of GAAP and internal control principles.

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments.

Preferred

  • CPA or CMA certification strongly preferred.

  • Experience in the moving, logistics, or storage industry a plus.

  • Demonstrated success in process improvement or systems implementation.
