KamaÊ»Äina Kids is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep of our preschool campuses throughout OÊ»ahu. This position is perfect for a dependable, solutions-oriented professional who enjoys hands-on work and understands the importance of maintaining spaces where young children feel safe, supported, and inspired to learn.
In this role, youâll travel between multiple school locations, addressing a variety of general maintenance needsâfrom minor repairs and preventative maintenance to playground and classroom improvements. Your work will play a key part in keeping our campuses safe, functional, and welcoming for the children, families, and staff we serve every day.
About the Role

Fix doors, cabinets, drawers, and classroom fixtures
Perform basic plumbing repairs, including sink and toilet clogs
Replace light fixtures, bulbs, and ceiling tiles
Handle patch painting, light drywall repair, and general upkeep
Inspect and maintain playground and outdoor equipment
Travel between preschool sites using a company vehicle
Help ensure all facilities meet safety and cleanliness standards
This Role Is a Good Fit If You Have:
Solid, hands-on experience in general maintenance or facilities work
Working knowledge of basic plumbing, carpentry, and electrical repairs
The ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
Strong communication skills and a dependable work ethic
Comfort working in environments with children and understanding of safety expectations
A clean driving abstract and reliable transportation
Experience in schools, childcare centers, property management, or similar settings is a strong plus. HVAC experience is a bonus but not required.
