Friendship Village is seeking a compassionate, energetic, and self-motivated individual to join our culinary team as a Crew Leader which is responsible for running the meal period in the absence of the dining room manager or assistant, you will be cross-trained in all front-of-house operations. This Full-time position offers flexible scheduling, benefits, and no late nights, with a starting pay of $16.00 per hour. Ready to jump into a role that matters?

Here’s a snapshot of what you’ll be doing each day as a Crew Leader:

  • Organizes, directs and supervises all functions in the main dining room, CafĂ© and employee cafeteria.
  • Monitors server performance and resident satisfaction during serving periods in all areas of responsibility.
  • Clears dishes from tables during and after meal service.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of serving experience required.
  • Familiarity with serving alcoholic beverages and responsible alcohol service practices.
  • Ability to provide clear, detailed instructions to employees regarding assigned tasks and the proper procedures for completing them.
  • Ability to interpret and explain menus, answer questions, coordinate the meal service process, and accurately understand and respond to customer requests.
