Shift & Status

Outpatient Clinician to join our team at the Pine Rest Kalamazoo Clinic in Michigan.

Michigan Licensure required: (LMSW, LPC, LP or LLP, LMFT) required. Limited Licenses cannot be considered for this position. Training and experience working with children or Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor Credentials (CAADC) preferred. Full time or Part Time position(s) available.

Evaluation and individual psychotherapy skills and Electronic Clinical Record skills required, experience running group therapy is a bonus. Manages caseload, collaborates with other treatment team members regarding patients' progress through interdisciplinary team meetings, record review, and informal discussions.

Clinical Therapist

Kalamazoo, MI

Pine Rest is seeking a compassionate Clinical Therapist to provide assessment, counseling, and treatment services for individuals receiving behavioral health care. In this role, you'll collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, deliver evidence-based therapy, and help patients build the skills and support needed for recovery.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct behavioral health assessments and develop treatment plans
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based approaches
  • Collaborate with treatment team members to coordinate patient care
  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust interventions as needed
  • Assist with crisis intervention, safety planning, and community resource coordination
  • Promote a recovery-focused, person-centered treatment environment

What We're Looking For

Required

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field
  • Current full Michigan licensure as an LMSW, LPC, LP, or equivalent clinical license
  • Strong clinical assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to provide high-quality, person-centered behavioral health services

Preferred

  • Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor Credentials (CAADC)
  • Experience working with children and adolescents
