Machine Operator
We are looking for a reliable, mechanically minded Machine Operator to join our production team. This is a hands-on manufacturing position for someone who enjoys working with machinery, staying active throughout the shift, and taking pride in producing quality work.
Machine Operators are responsible for operating and monitoring production equipment used in the manufacturing of wire and cable products. Previous manufacturing experience is a plus, but reliability, mechanical ability, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn are just as important.
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 3:15 PM–1:45 AM, with occasional overtime on Fridays.
What You'll Do
- Set up, operate, and monitor production machinery
- Load and unload materials as needed throughout the production process
- Monitor equipment and make basic adjustments to keep production running efficiently
- Perform routine quality checks to ensure products meet specifications
- Complete required production and quality documentation
- Identify and promptly report equipment or production issues
- Safely move materials using carts, forklifts, or other equipment as assigned
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow established work instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards
- Work independently while contributing to overall team and production goals

- Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift and perform the physical requirements of the assigned position
Physical Requirements
This is an active manufacturing position, not a sit-down machine operator role.
Constant standing and walking throughout the shift
Repetitive lifting and handling of materials up to 50 lbs.
Pushing and maneuvering carts of material
Frequent bending, reaching, and handling of reels and spools
Ability to safely work around moving production equipment and powered industrial vehicles
