We're hiring a Fireplace Installer / Service Technician to install and service gas, direct-vent, wood-burning, and electric fireplaces throughout the Kansas City area.

Fireplace experience is a plus, but it isn't required. If you have experience in construction, HVAC, roofing, carpentry, remodeling, appliance installation, or another hands-on trade—and you're dependable, safety-conscious, and willing to learn—we can train the right person.

What You'll Do

You'll work on both new construction and existing homes throughout the Kansas City metro.

Your work will include:

• Installing gas, direct-vent, wood-burning, and electric fireplaces
• Loading and unloading fireplaces, tools, and job materials
• Installing fireplace units and venting systems according to manufacturer specifications
• Installing venting through roofs when required
• Completing fireplace start-up and light-up
• Troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing existing fireplaces
• Communicating job-site conditions or issues to managers and sales team members
• Keeping your company vehicle, tools, and work areas clean and organized
• Traveling to job sites throughout the Kansas City area
• Following company and job-site safety procedures

What We're Looking For

You don't need to know everything about fireplaces on Day 1. You do need to bring reliability, mechanical ability, safety awareness, and a willingness to learn.

Required:

• Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving requirements
• Comfortable working from ladders, roofs, and elevated work areas
• Previous experience safely working at heights
• Ability to lift and maneuver 50+ pounds and work as part of a team when handling heavier fireplace units
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to communicate clearly with teammates, managers, builders, and customers
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of your work
• Ability to successfully complete required pre-employment screening

• Other mechanical or skilled-trade experience
