Job Description​

Saint Luke's Hospital is looking for a Clinical Scheduling Coordinator to join there team.

Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Clinical Scheduling Coordinator

Schedule: Full Time, Monday - Friday, Days

Self directed and functions independently. Serves as an agent to improve customer service and provide a layer of safety throughout the scheduling process. Delegates tasks appropriately, responsible for all training of new employees in this area. Responsible for customer service and safety in scheduling for CV procedures throughout SLHS. Assesses, develops a scheduling plan, reviews that plan with the multidisciplinary team and implements the plan for scheduling, ensuring the patient is scheduled at the correct location, and the correct day and time. Utilizes the Appropriate Use Criteria for all imaging modalities for the selection of the correct imaging study. Participates regularly in the evaluation of the scheduling process to ensure the patient is placed in the safest environment possible. Evaluates resources needed to safely perform the designated procedure requiring advanced clinical knowledge, critical thinking and communication skills.
