Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Observation in Kansas City, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and team members, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and delivery activity in accordance with site policies; assist with visitor direction and access-control processes as assigned.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and promptly communicating with site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs, and support a professional, customer-focused environment at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
