Offering students, the chance to apply their classroom knowledge to real-world situations, providing a bridge between academic learning and professional practice. Our hands-on learning experience will develop essential skills, build a professional network, and provide insights into your chosen career path. Come intern with us at our Kansas City location where you will support our Water Services Group! Many of our interns enjoy their time at Lamp Rynearson so much they become full-time employees.What you need:• Current engineering student at an accredited college or university in a civil, chemical, environmental or mechanical engineering program. • Prefer 2 years completed toward degree with a minimum of 3.0 GPA.• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

 

You bring to the team:• Ability to apply standard engineering techniques and procedures.• Ability to perform assignments under the direct supervision of a Professional Engineer or Project Manager.• Passion for water and wastewater infrastructure projects.• Problem-solving and decision-making skills.• Strong communication skills.• Ability to work with a team of unique personalities and professional styles. • Ability to perform self-motivated work, as well as collaborate and contribute to a team.• Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
