Risher Amenity Management is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and creative Lifestyle Operations Specialist to join our growing Lifestyle team.

This role serves as a key operational partner to the Director of Lifestyle Operations and our community Lifestyle Directors. The Specialist helps turn ideas and department strategy into organized, polished, and successful execution across Risher-managed communities.

You'll work behind the scenes—and sometimes on the front lines—to help make events happen, strengthen marketing and communication, coordinate vendors, track budgets, improve systems, and share successful ideas across our communities.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who loves making things happen, notices the details others miss, solves problems before they become problems, and enjoys working across multiple projects and teams.

What You'll Do

  • Support Events & Programming: Help plan and execute community events, programs, classes, clubs, and special initiatives by coordinating timelines, vendors, supplies, entertainment, staffing, and other logistics.
  • Support Marketing & Communications: Help create and coordinate flyers, digital graphics, newsletters, event announcements, social content, resident communications, and other promotional materials while maintaining Risher and community brand standards.
  • Coordinate Vendors & Partners: Research and organize vendors, entertainers, instructors, and other partners; coordinate proposals, pricing, contracts, insurance documentation, scheduling, and event logistics.
  • Support Budgets & Financial Tracking: Help Lifestyle Directors manage programming budgets, track expenses, coordinate invoices and purchasing documentation, identify potential overages, and find cost-effective solutions.
  • Keep the Department Organized: Maintain calendars, project trackers, planning tools, shared resources, event records, and other systems that help the Lifestyle team stay organized and ahead of deadlines.
  • Improve How We Work: Identify opportunities to streamline processes, develop better tools and resources, research technology and systems, and help create consistency across Risher-managed communities.
  • Be a Trusted Team Resource: Work closely with Lifestyle Directors and the Director of Lifestyle Operations to identify needs, solve problems, share ideas, and provide additional support for major events and business initiatives.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is organized, resourceful, detail-oriented, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities. You don't have to know everything on day one, but you should be someone who takes initiative, learns quickly, communicates well, and isn't afraid to jump in and figure things out.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in event planning, recreation, hospitality, marketing, community programming, operations, project coordination, or a related field
  • Strong organizational and project-management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and follow-through
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to manage multiple projects, communities, priorities, and deadlines
  • Experience with marketing, social media, digital communications, and/or graphic-design platforms preferred
  • Comfort working with budgets, spreadsheets, invoices, and financial information
  • Strong technology skills and the ability to quickly learn new systems
  • A collaborative, professional approach when working with team members, leadership, vendors, clients, and community partners
  • The ability to take initiative while understanding when to make decisions independently and when to involve leadership
  • Flexibility to occasionally work evenings and weekends in support of major community events and business needs
  • Bachelor's degree in Recreation, Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, Event Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred, but relevant experience will also be considered.

What Success Looks Like

In this role, success means making the Lifestyle team more organized, more efficient, and more effective.

You'll help ensure that:

  • Projects and events stay on track and meet deadlines
  • Lifestyle Directors have the operational support they need
  • Budgets and financial information are accurate and organized
  • Vendors and partners are well coordinated
  • Marketing and communications are timely, polished, and effective
  • Successful programs, resources, and ideas are shared across communities
  • Processes and systems continue to improve as the Lifestyle division grows
  • The operational details are handled so our Lifestyle teams can focus on what they do best—creating exceptional resident experiences.

Growth Opportunity

Risher's Lifestyle division continues to grow, and this position has the opportunity to grow with it. As the department expands, the Specialist may take on additional leadership responsibilities, lead operational projects, train new team members, or eventually supervise additional operational support staff.

The Director of Lifestyle Operations will maintain overall responsibility for department strategy, priorities, standards, team performance, and departmental outcomes.

Why This Role Matters

The Lifestyle Operations Specialist helps provide the operational infrastructure behind great Lifestyle programming.

By bringing organization, creativity, problem-solving, and consistency to the department, this role helps Risher scale its Lifestyle services while maintaining the quality, creativity, and resident experience that set our communities apart.
