At Inspired Living, mealtime is about more than what's on the plate; it's about creating moments that bring people together. We're looking for a Cook for our Inspired Living at Kenner, who takes pride in great food, enjoys working with people, and understands that every meal is an opportunity to make someone's day a little better.

What You'll Do

• Prepare high-quality meals according to the community's menu and nutritional standards.
• Follow recipes, special diets, and resident preferences with care and attention to detail.
• Prepare food safely while maintaining proper temperatures, storage, sanitation, and food-handling standards.
• Get to know resident likes and dislikes and help create meals residents look forward to.
• Support an exceptional dining experience by interacting with residents and responding to their needs and feedback.
• Keep the kitchen, equipment, storage areas, and food preparation spaces clean, organized, and safe.
• Work closely with the Culinary Services team to support smooth meal service.
• Help train and support team members and promote a positive, collaborative kitchen environment.
• Follow all health department, company, and safety standards.
• Jump in, show initiative, and help wherever needed to make the dining experience exceptional.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of food service experience required.
• 3+ years of food service experience preferred.
• A passion for preparing quality food and serving others.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile.
