Independence Rehab is actively seeking a Full-Time Outpatient Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our therapy team at Arbor Village in Kent, and Solstice at Pointe Defiance in Tacoma, both very well-regarded assisted living facilities.

About the Role

As a COTA in a skilled nursing setting, you'll split time between Pointe Defiance and Arbor Village on an outpatient basis, working collaboratively with the therapy team to support residents through rehabilitation, recovery, and long-term care-helping them achieve meaningful progress and improved quality of life.

SNF Practice Highlights

  • Treat a diverse caseload, including occasional clinically complex patients

  • Perform and assist with all types of transfers

  • Provide adaptive ADL retraining and functional task practice

  • Collaborate closely with the evaluating OT and interdisciplinary care team

  • Competency training is available-we're happy to support your growth in any of these areas

Requirements

  • Current Washington State Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) license in good standing
