Job Summary: 


The Recruiter is responsible for facilitating and administering in a professional and confidential manner the human resources processes within the Company.  This position carries out responsibility and primary support in the following areas:  recruitment, new employee orientationmaintaining personnel files, data entry and employee engagement. 

 

Responsibilities: 


Talent Acquisition Support:   

  • Conduct full-cycle recruiting for entry & mid-level positions including Operations, Administrative, and general support positions. 

  • Assist the Talent Acquisition manager with recruitment of professional positions.   

  • Administer Post-Offer activities including offer letters, background checks, coordination of orientations and systems access.     

  • Process new hires onboarding paperwork and activities in ATS on employee’s first day, create employee file and deliver packet to payroll for ADP and Gartman access. 

  • Facilitate new hire NEO presentation. 

  • Ensure all locations have new hire materials and benefit packets prior to new hire starting. 

  • Coordinate travel for interviews and employee orientations. 

  • Assist with posting internal and external openings. 

  • Assist with creating templates, checklists and marketing material for recruiting, onboarding and training. 

  • Assist with creating and updating job descriptions. 

 

Provide general HR support: 

  • Maintain employee files with a focus on accuracy, compliance and confidentiality. 

  • Process any employee changes, updates, and terminations in HRIS system. 

  • Manage federal and state poster program; ensure all facilities are compliant. 

  • Ensure employee communication boards are maintained and updated. 

  • Provide administrative support with various training programs. 

  • Participate in ongoing and/or ad hoc people projects as needed. 

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.  

 

Skills and Abilities:  


  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and customer service skills.   

  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written. 

  • Strong team player and ability to work with cross-functional teams.  

  • Ability to develop and maintain strong documentation on standardized deliverables and processes. 

  • Demonstrated ability to respond to changing situations in a flexible manner and prioritize accordingly to meet immediate needs. 

  • Strong computer skills including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) along with previous working knowledge of ADP Workforce Now highly desired. 

  • General knowledge of laws and regulations governing HR activities. 

 

Education and Experience: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.  

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a 4- year college or university or equivalent HR work experience preferred. 

  • SHRM or SPHR certification desired. 

  • 2+ years’ experience in Human Resources desired.   

 

Physical Requirements:  

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. 

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
