Responsibilities & Requirements

The Imaging Tech Assistant supports imaging technologists by preparing patients, maintaining equipment and exam rooms, and assisting with imaging procedures to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care. This role contributes to patient safety, access, and operational reliability by adhering to regulatory standards and supporting workflow in the imaging department. Performs other duties as assigned. All job responsibilities are to be carried out in alignment with Kettering Health's mission, vision, values, and B Safe program.High school diploma or equivalent.At least one year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in radiology or imaging servicesBasic Life Support (BLS) certification (must be obtained within 90 days of hire)

Preferred Qualifications

Completion of coursework in medical terminology or anatomy and physiology; enrollment in or completion of an accredited radiologic technology program Experience with patient care, medical office procedures, or imaging equipment Certification as a Medical Assistant or completion of related medical courses
