The Senior Director, Market Access Analytics as a part of US Insights & Analytics team, will establish and lead CSL Behring's US Payer Analytics capability, building the strategic and analytical foundation required to optimize patient access across the portfolio.

This leader, working closely with Strategic Market Access, Payer Channel Marketing and Market Access Accounts functions, will transform complex payer, claims, and market access data into actionable business insights that influence strategy, improve patient access, and maximize commercial performance. The role requires deep expertise in commercial and government coverage, specialty pharmacy and specialty distributor ecosystems, integrated delivery networks, and the evolving integrated payer landscape within rare and specialty diseases.

This individual will serve as the analytical thought partner to cross-functional partners as well as Senior Leadership.

  • Associate Director, Market Access Analytics

  • 2X Sr Manager, Market Access Analytics

Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Establish the long-term vision, roadmap, and operating model for US Payer Analytics

  • Serve as a key member of the US I&A leadership team, ensuring market access insights are integrated with broader commercial insights and priorities.

  • Develop scalable analytic capabilities, reporting frameworks, dashboards, and data infrastructure supporting payer decision making

  • Build foundational measurement and KPI frameworks for market access performance

  • Partner with Data & Analytics teams to improve availability and quality of payer data assets

  • Develop comprehensive analytics supporting market access strategy and provide actionable recommendations regarding opportunities and emerging access risks including: National and regional coverage assessment, Formulary positioning, Coverage evolution and trends

  • Move beyond traditional national reporting by developing detailed analytics at the payer account level. (e.g. Health plan performance, PBM performance, IDN performance, Regional payer performance, etc.)

  • Develop a comprehensive reimbursement analytics capability including: PA approval rates, Denial reasons, Appeals submitted, Appeal success rates, Overturn rates, etc.

  • Responsibility for oversight and effective management of all team members to include but not limited to the following: Annual objective setting, Mid-year and end of year review, Coaching and counseling as appropriate, Employee development

  • Stay current with industry benchmarks and best practices to ensure insights and strategies remain competitive and innovative

Position Qualifications and Experience Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree (MBA, MS) preferred

Experience:

  • 15+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, specialty pharmacy, payer, or healthcare analytics

  • Experience within rare disease, specialty biologics, or specialty pharmaceuticals

  • Demonstrated success building new analytics capabilities and teams

  • Deep understanding of the US payer landscape, including:

  • Commercial health plans
  • National and regional PBMs ,IDNs, GPOs, SPs, HCOs
  • Strong understanding of reimbursement pathways across both medical and pharmacy benefits
  • Experience with market access data (e.g., MMIT, Fingertip Formulary, IQVIA, Komodo, claims databases) and payer policy analytics

  • Proven ability to influence senior executives through data-driven storytelling and strategic recommendations.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building abilities

  • Strong Change and Leadership skills
