Tired of being chained to a desk? This role is built for a safety professional who wants to be on the floor, not buried in paperwork.

A growing manufacturer of synthetic fiber products (used in reinforced concrete and other applications) is looking for an EHS Manager to lead safety at a 24/7 facility running 4 shifts. This is a hands-on, relationship-driven role: walking the plant, running inspections, and coaching operators, not sitting behind a screen.

What You'll Do

  • Lead daily floor inspections and hazard identification across all shifts
  • Own LOTO, machine guarding, and PPE compliance at the operator level
  • Build trust and rapport with production teams and shift leadership
  • Investigate incidents and drive corrective actions
  • Deliver hands-on training that sticks

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of safety experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Working knowledge of LOTO, machine guarding, and PPE programs
  • Flexibility to rotate across all 4 shifts as needed
  • Strong floor presence and comfort engaging hourly teams

Why This Role Stands Out

  • Direct hire with full benefits and bonus potential up to 10%
  • Flexible schedule, not a rigid 9-to-5
  • Real ownership of the safety program from day one
