SUMMARYĀ Ā
Mortenson is currently seeking an experienced Senior Scheduler II with the ability to interact with a variety of staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment, remaining flexible, resourceful, proactive, and efficient with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. The Senior Scheduling Engineer will provide oversight of all planning and scheduling activities.Ā

RESPONSIBILITIESĀ
Lead and coordinate site teams and trade partners in developing project schedules using CPM scheduling programsĀ
Support group leadership by monitoring and updating project schedules on multiple or larger projectsĀ
Explore mitigation options and assist site management in formulating mitigation plans for scheduling problemsĀ
Lead or instruct less experienced individuals in planning and scheduling conceptsĀ
Collaborate with Business Development on proposals, leading project pursuit strategy regarding schedulesĀ
Participate in corporate planning and scheduling improvement initiatives and best practice sharingĀ
Build relationships with individuals of diverse backgrounds and organizational levelsĀ
Perform other duties as assignedĀ

QUALIFICATIONSĀ
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent fieldĀ
Minimum of six years construction experience or equivalent combination of training and experienceĀ
Experience as an assistant project manager or assistant superintendent is desirableĀ
Thorough knowledge of scheduling concepts, principles, practices, and company softwareĀ
Thorough knowledge of standard construction practices and project sequencingĀ
Ability to exercise creativity and mature judgment in solving unprecedented problems on complex projectsĀ
Strong plan and specification reading, review, and interpretation skillsĀ
Basic knowledge of project management, buyout, contracts, cost and resource loaded schedules, and claims avoidance/resolution techniquesĀ
Ability to deliver exceptional customer experience and interpret/implement customer scheduling specifications and contract requirementsĀ
Ability to work in a cross-functional, collaborative, team-based environment with excellent communication skills and openness to diverse input and feedbackĀ

The base pay range for this role is $107,200 - $160,800. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL ā 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR ā 10%, Washington, D.C. ā 12.5%).Ā
Ā Ā
Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individualās knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.Ā This position is eligible for Mortensonās incentive plan.Ā
