Principle Duties and Areas of Responsibility:
-Â Â Â Responsible for machining, assembling, handling products, equipment and materials per Method of Manufacturing and the Quality Procedures.
- Â Â Load, unload, hang, and remove parts or materials from conveyor systems and paint line racks.
- Â Â Prepare products for painting by inspecting, cleaning, masking, or staging materials as required.
- Â Â Perform visual quality inspections before, during, and after the painting process to ensure products meet customer and company standards.
- Â Â Identify and report defects, equipment issues, or safety concerns to supervisors.
- Â Â Assist with changeovers, color changes, and basic equipment adjustments as needed.
- Â Â Package, label, and prepare finished products for storage or shipment.
 -  Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S and housekeeping standards.
-Â Â Follow all safety procedures, personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, and environmental regulations.
-Â Â Â Must run production according to schedules, unless instructed otherwise.
-Â Â Â Must perform Quality Checks with the use of gauges and visual inspection during specified time periods while running production.
-Â Â Â Demonstrate ability to safely operate various machines.Â
-Â Â Â Must be able to read and understand Travelers / Job routings.
-Â Â Â Report labor, rework, and scrap directly in ERP computer operating system.Â
-Â Â Â Ability to perform repetitious tasks, occasionally subject to frequent changes in job assignment as requested by Department Lead.
-Â Â Â Work on rapid improvement projects to improve departmental metrics as required to maximize value and reduce costs along with continuous improvement of product and process quality in all areas.
-Â Â Â Other tasks as needed.
Skills and Abilities:
-Â Â Â Manufacturing production
-Â Â Â Must be able to lift up to 25lbs continuously.
-Â Â Â Must be able to stand for 12 hours a day
-Â Â Â Must be self-motivated.
-Â Â Â Basic computer skills and knowledge helpful.
