About Us

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IT Manager to serve as the internal owner of our company’s day-to-day technology operations and the primary liaison between our employees and our external managed IT service provider (MSP).

This role will initially focus heavily on improving the performance, accountability, and overall employee experience provided by our external IT partner. The IT Manager will ensure issues are resolved promptly, technology is properly maintained, employees receive responsive support, and our IT provider consistently meets our expectations.

This individual will also own software and license management, employee technology onboarding and offboarding, hardware coordination, and technology standards across our offices.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, service-oriented, technically knowledgeable, and comfortable holding outside vendors accountable. This person should be equally comfortable troubleshooting an employee’s technology issue, analyzing recurring service desk problems, managing software licenses, and having a direct conversation with an IT provider about service deficiencies.

Here's What You’ll Be Doing

  • Serve as the company’s primary day-to-day point of contact and internal owner for our external IT provider
  • Monitor open tickets, escalate urgent or recurring issues, and work with the provider to resolve root causes.
  • Own the employee technology experience by ensuring employees receive timely, professional IT support.
  • Oversee IT onboarding and offboarding, including computers, accounts, software, permissions, security tools, and equipment collection.
  • Oversee inventories for software, licenses, subscriptions, hardware, and other IT assets.
  • Coordinate hardware purchasing, setup, deployment, repairs, replacements, and secure disposal.
  • Oversee and support technology needs across offices, including moves, openings, conference rooms, printers, internet, phones, and related vendors.
  • Assist leadership with IT budgeting, vendor evaluation, technology planning, cybersecurity requirements, and process improvements.

The Criteria for Joining Our Team

  • 3–7+ years of experience in IT operations, systems administration, managed services, or a similar role.
  • Experience working with or managing an MSP strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Egnyte, user account administration, endpoint management, software licensing, and common business technology tools.
  • General understanding of networking, cybersecurity, backups, identity/access management, and business continuity.
  • Strong troubleshooting, project management, vendor management, communication, and follow-through skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and willingness to travel between company offices as needed.
