Title: On-Call PACE Transportation Specialist
Schedule: As needed, picking up days here and there for PTO or call-offs. Shifts will be during business hours (8am to 5pm, Monday - Friday)
Location: Lafayette, CO

Pay: $22.50 to $27.61 per hour

JOB SUMMARY

The Transportation Specialist is responsible for transportation of PACE program participants using company-owned vehicles and may be required to transport DME meals or other items as needed. They are responsible for the upkeep and cleanliness of the fleet vehicles. Some participant care including transfers, wheelchair mobility and toileting may be required as well as acting as escort for appointments when appropriate.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • 1+ years of experience driving a company vehicle, required
  • Experience driving passengers, highly preferred
  • Experience working in scheduling data bases, preferred
  • Experience working with the frail or elderly population, preferred
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), preferred
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Ability to plan, prioritize and follow-up on/delegate responsibilities effectively and efficiently.
