We are seeking a dedicated and experienced full-time cook to join the team at Water's Edge Assisted Living in Lake Wales, Florida. Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook meals in accordance with dietary guidelines and residents' preferences

- Ensure all food is prepared safely, maintaining proper hygiene and sanitation standards

- Plan menus in collaboration with the dietary team, considering nutritional requirements

- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed

- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and food preparation areas

- Adhere to all health and safety regulations

- Assist with special event catering and meal service as required

Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a cook, preferably in a healthcare or assisted living setting

- Knowledge of dietary restrictions and nutritional guidelines

- Ability to follow recipes and food safety standards

- Strong organizational and time management skills

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

- Flexibility to work full-time hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary

- Food handler’s certification or willingness to obtain one
