Job DetailsJob Location: FLA-Lakeland Corps - Lakeland, FL 33802Position Type: Full Time RegularEducation Level: High School Diploma/GEDJob Category: Child CareSchedule/Hours: Monday- Friday, 40 hours week This position is responsible for: Provides child care services for children including personal care, hygiene, pre-developed learning and development activities and specialized programs; follow lesson plans to teach pre-school classes; prepares and maintains records; maintains cleanliness and orderliness of child care property. Drives a Salvation Army vehicle in order to transport passengers to and from Salvation Army activities. Key Responsibilities: Provides constant care for the needs of the children in an efficient, clean, loving, safe, secure, and healthy manner. Assists in the classroom by following and carrying out lesson plans which are age-group program specific. Provides transportation for children to and from school or other activties.  Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to lift, hold, and carry children on a regular basis (up to 50 lbs.) Duties are usually performed by combinations of sitting, standing, and walking on a frequents change basis. LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS: Valid state commercial driver's license with passenger endorsement C.P.R. and First Aid Certification   *This position requires a level 2 background screening.
