Job DetailsJob Location: Try-It Lancaster - Lancaster, NY 14086Salary Range: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 SalaryJob Category: Marketing Summary: Executes special events initiatives in the company’s sales and distribution areas.  Supports pre-sell sales representatives and other sales department personnel on achieving draught sales objectives in all on-premises accounts. Follows directives from Manager.   Essential Functions (must be able to be performed with or without reasonable accommodation):  Ensures the execution of the special events department needs for (250) event planning, sponsorship, and on-premises draught sales in accordance with Managers directives. Works with and leads seasonal staff to meet the needs of summer special events. Assists in training is scheduled for all special event personnel. Schedules all summer seasonal help to support fulltime staff. Oversee delivery, setup, maintenance, customer satisfaction, pick-up of all picnic equipment. Meets with customers on special event planning to coordinates draft supplies, required permits and licenses, staffing requirements and promotional materials.  Follows-up with customer feedback or complaints after a special event. Is the point of contact for all special events planning and on-call for the duration of the event. Works with manager and suppliers to ensure proper levels of draught inventory is on-hand. Identifies product defects and out-of-code product and puts in preventative measures.  Available and willing to work with seasonal demands to include hours and volume of business. Qualifications Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education and experience: two years related sales/customer service experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of draft systems operation, draft beer varieties, NYS liquor authority regulations, and sales techniques.  Knowledge of all aspects of draught sales and quality required to ensure that a quality product is served. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:   Solicitor’s permit required. Valid driver’s license. Work towards CDL-A license (18 months). A-B Selling Skills trained and certified. Other Skills and Abilities: excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to calculate figures and amounts; such as, discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages; computer literacy including proficiency in MS Office software.     Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential function of this job.
