Community Services Case Aide

Kemmerer Village, Inc. is seeking a Community Services Case Aide to provide transportation, supervised visitation, and case support for children and families involved in foster care.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with occasional evenings, weekends, and adjusted hours based on client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport foster children to family visits, counseling, medical appointments, and other scheduled activities.
  • Supervise visits between foster children and their birth families in homes and community settings.
  • Complete weekly visitation records and submit them to the assigned Caseworker.
  • Document significant observations, client contacts, and unusual incidents promptly.
  • Maintain current records regarding children’s medical, dental, and immunization needs.
  • Communicate and collaborate with caseworkers, foster parents, therapists, and community partners.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional and agency standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required.
  • Interest in child welfare.
  • At least two years of experience with the foster care system.
  • Strong communication, organization, judgment, and teamwork skills.
  • Maturity, flexibility, dependability, and the ability to manage conflict professionally.
  • Basic computer and general office equipment skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends.
  • Valid Illinois driver’s license, safe driving record
