Red Cedar Lodge Senior Living is seeking compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused Resident Assistants to join our team. We currently have openings for full-time and part-time positions on 1st shift, as well as a part-time position on 2nd shift.
Position Summary
The Resident Assistant provides compassionate, hands-on support to residents while helping promote their comfort, dignity, safety, and independence. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys working with older adults and making a meaningful difference in their daily lives.

- Full-Time Resident Assistant — 1st Shift
- Part-Time Resident Assistant — 1st Shift
- Part-Time Resident Assistant — 2nd Shift
Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living and personal care as needed.
- Support residents with mobility, transfers, dressing, grooming, and other daily activities.
- Assist with meals and encourage proper nutrition and hydration.
- Provide companionship and engage residents in meaningful activities and conversation.
- Monitor residents and report changes in condition or behavior to appropriate team members.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
- Follow resident care plans, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with residents, families, and coworkers.
- Protect resident privacy and promote dignity, choice, and independence.
- Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
Qualifications
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable approach to resident care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Previous senior living, assisted living, caregiving, or healthcare experience is preferred but may not be required depending on applicable training requirements.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position and perform hands-on resident care duties as needed.
- Willingness to work assigned schedules, including weekends and holidays as needed.
