Red Cedar Lodge Senior Living is seeking compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused Resident Assistants to join our team. We currently have openings for full-time and part-time positions on 1st shift, as well as a part-time position on 2nd shift.

Position Summary

The Resident Assistant provides compassionate, hands-on support to residents while helping promote their comfort, dignity, safety, and independence. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys working with older adults and making a meaningful difference in their daily lives.

Available Positions

• Full-Time Resident Assistant — 1st Shift
• Part-Time Resident Assistant — 1st Shift
• Part-Time Resident Assistant — 2nd Shift

Key Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living and personal care as needed.
• Support residents with mobility, transfers, dressing, grooming, and other daily activities.
• Assist with meals and encourage proper nutrition and hydration.
• Provide companionship and engage residents in meaningful activities and conversation.
• Monitor residents and report changes in condition or behavior to appropriate team members.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
• Follow resident care plans, safety procedures, and company policies.
• Communicate professionally and respectfully with residents, families, and coworkers.
• Protect resident privacy and promote dignity, choice, and independence.
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable approach to resident care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Previous senior living, assisted living, caregiving, or healthcare experience is preferred but may not be required depending on applicable training requirements.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position and perform hands-on resident care duties as needed.
• Willingness to work assigned schedules, including weekends and holidays as needed.
